Lie: poverty reduction under Bush rather than Clinton

Lie claims: under Bill Clinton, 15.1 percent of the population was poor; under President Bush, 12.7 percent of the population is poor. That's a reduction, that's a good thing.
Liars from: CNN contributor Rev. Joe Watkins http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0509/12/pzn.01.html

Facts check and Analysis:
Just go see gov. website data: http://www.census.gov/hhes/www/poverty/histpov/hstpov2.html
the 15.1 is when Clinton first took office in 1993, and during his period, the number keep decreasing, while when 2000 Bush took office, this number keep increasing.

Tricks: when some people just simply lie, what can we do? this kind of people is not human, just lowest living being and should not be allow to stay in the world and cheat martians.

Jeff Session from AL. most stupid senator ever

This is surprisingly stupid, during all his hearing process of Judge John Robert, he just ask Judge Robert for a class "about American Court system", lol. I would like to point two points here:
1. Republicans are so happy, and so happy to see democrats fight for this hearing, but they forget one most important point. Judge Robert has huge possibility to become liberal after comfirmation. I just wonder how these republican senators who now defending him so restlessly would think at that time?
2. Jeff Session said high percentage of young people oppose abortion according a poll, so does he think US Supermem court should make decision based on poll rather than constitution?

Lie: FEMA should only responce to direct appeal of specific request from state or local government

Lie from: FEMA defender, (I will add more link once i have time)
Lie Claim: FEMA can NOT responce without direct appeal of specific request from state or local government

Analysis:
OK, this is a good one, FEMA: Federal Emergency Management Agency, who claim they can not responce until direct appeal from state government, maybe thats why:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Brown
The director of FEMA, Mr. Michael Brown, told fire and rescue departments outside affected areas to refrain from providing trucks or emergency workers without a direct appeal from state or local governments in order to avoid coordination problems and the accusation of overstepping federal authority.

well, lets see what FEMA says about themselves:
As it has for more than 20 years, FEMA's mission remains: to lead America to prepare for, prevent, respond to and recover from disasters with a vision of "A Nation Prepared." At no time in its history has this vision been more important to the country than in the aftermath of Sept. 11th.
http://www.fema.gov/about/history.shtm

well, is that my mistake, or I just read a word about "lead" and "prepare"? So where are you f*cking basters before the Hurricane hit? Mr. Brown only asked preparation 5 hours later after the hurricane hit!

well, Lets keep on going, did Louisiana appealed for help before hurricane hit anyway? http://gov.louisiana.gov/Disaster%20Relief%20Request.pdf
This file was sent to president by Governor Blanco on Aug 28th, listed what she wanted from feds, plz read them, see if FEMA should get involved.

Then we come to the last points, repub dummis, are u following ok?, ok, lets supposed a situation: a huge earthquake in LA, just as people are talking about, or....well, lets say a terrorist attack, in both situation, the local communication was cut first (well, we know terrorist learnt something from FEMA's statement for sure), then feds can just sit and wait for people to die.
Finally, do NOT forget, state of Louisiana has already asked for help 2 days before the hurricane hit!!!!!!!!, so the situation like huge earthquake which will come without pre-informing, can you imagine how many people gonna die? repub dummis, you get it? what? why are you not talking? wanna go back to Mars now?

Tricks: "select some words from a document and make case"
Rate: this is really stupid, people treat event with common sense, not stupid arrangment of words which design to make exuse, its not like you are playing games of words!!

Lie: equal partisanship in Katrina congressional Investigation committee is "finger pointing"

Lie from : Republican congresional members (NPR news reported in Morning edition of Sept. 9)
Lie claim: Republican need to be majority in congressional Katrina investigation committee, democrat's request of equal number of partisanship in the committee is "fingerpointing"

Analysis:
OK, lets see. We all know Repubs think the local and state is responcible for the failure of aftermath of hurricane katrina (Although i really doubt if they think state of Mississippi and Alabama also need to be blamed, lol, repubs dummi, always forget to blame their own people), and we know democrats want to blame feds, especially FEMA. So, suppose u have 5 repubs and 4 democrats in the committee, well............. you know the results.
What? Repub dummis, what did you say? you say you believe senators and congressmen and congresswomen will carefully check all the facts and make a fair and right decision about who should take most responcibility? Oh, lovely dummis, i think you are from Mars, are you a martian? commo, go back to Mars right now, Earth is way too dangerous for your kind of naive martians, you will finally end up sending all you little money from your wallet to those rich people live in the big houses, and dying in the homeless shelter.

Tricks: well, no trick here, just blatant attack, the theory behind this is "I am always right, even if I am not fair, and you are always wrong, and you are always have bad intension."
Trick breaks at: commo, this is politics, even pigs know that 3 pigs can not fight 4 pigs, number is very important, people just follow their heart, dont think about who is right, who is wrong, make your own decision........ or, go back to Mars.

Lie: Louisiana Governor Blanco refuse RedCross to enter New Orleans

Lies from: http://wizbangblog.com/archives/007011.php ; and http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2005/9/7/235423.shtml
Lies claim: Governor refuse let Red Cross get in the city, by "quoting" the FAQ page of RedCross's statement.

Analysis:
lets check the link given by liars: http://www.redcross.org/faq/0,1096,0_682_4524,00.html
Disaster FAQs

Hurricane Katrina: Why is the Red Cross not in New Orleans?

Acess to New Orleans is controlled by the National Guard and local authorities and while we are in constant contact with them, we simply cannot enter New Orleans against their orders.

The state Homeland Security Department had requested--and continues to request--that the American Red Cross not come back into New Orleans following the hurricane. Our presence would keep people from evacuating and encourage others to come into the city.

The Red Cross has been meeting the needs of thousands of New Orleans residents in some 90 shelters throughout the state of Louisiana and elsewhere since before landfall. All told, the Red Cross is today operating 149 shelters for almost 93,000 residents.

The Red Cross shares the nation’s anguish over the worsening situation inside the city. We will continue to work under the direction of the military, state and local authorities and to focus all our efforts on our lifesaving mission of feeding and sheltering.

The Red Cross does not conduct search and rescue operations. We are an organization of civilian volunteers and cannot get relief aid into any location until the local authorities say it is safe and provide us with security and access.

The original plan was to evacuate all the residents of New Orleans to safe places outside the city. With the hurricane bearing down, the city government decided to open a shelter of last resort in the Superdome downtown. We applaud this decision and believe it saved a significant number of lives.

As the remaining people are evacuated from New Orleans, the most appropriate role for the Red Cross is to provide a safe place for people to stay and to see that their emergency needs are met. We are fully staffed and equipped to handle these individuals once they are evacuated.

Maybe you already noticed, Red Cross said they were refused by the state Homeland Security Department, while our dummi republicans replaced to "governor Blanco", as if they are saying governor should be responcible for the decision of state dept. of Homeland Securiy, I wonder if dummi repubs also want President to be responcible for the failure of FEMA?
Dont get me wrong, im not saying the state dept. of Homeland Security made the wrong decision, just read the full page from Red Cross, what did they say? They say their proper role is not entering the city? So, repubs dummis, why are you guys screaming around?

Tricks: "replacement" and "super imagination".
Liar's level: pretty smart, the bad thing is that if reader really read the resource they cited, the lie is broken.
